Hi thanks for the great Demo love your honest opinion, i have tested the tones and they sound great😊 i am so tempted to buy, but I would just feel much better if these were officially approved by the amp manufacturers. So ethics wise What is your thought on that. I believe that this is the future that amp manufacturers jump on board and also get a piece of the cake😊 like ik multimedia did with the mesa boogie reference series for tonex cheers

This is supposed to be a demo of the amp. I really could have done without the pedals. I really wanted to hear the effect the boost had on the clean channel as it was turned up but you didn't bother with that. Very disappointing demo.

I like the clean sounds but the higher gain stuff is really disappointing. Far too fizzy and fuzzy for me which is a shame since I have a soft spot for Laney as they were founded in my home town.

I think the first clean amps will sound much closer to the actual ones if you change the Cabinet models (maybe any 4x2)

Looking at the prices of these new Danelectro pedals, they are no longer the budget friendly brand the once were. The quality has always been decent but their prices are landing somewhere in the middle range now. In Canada the Roebuck is about $200. But looking at the price of an Ibanez Mostortion, $200 is a deal. 😂 The sweet spot for the distortion knob seems to be a out 12 o'clock

I think, personally the problem here for me was the sound of the pedal. A pedal can be dialed down to make the slightest change in sound. I have never played in a loop just directly in an amp. I do see the benefits in going through the loop

I really want to purchase this pedal but if that's as low as you can set the repeats then I don't think it's for me. I like maybe two or three repeats not six or seven.

Thanks for the comparison. I had the TC and even with the Firmware update I didn't like the clean sound. It sounded too digital. I have been looking for backup to my Tech 21 Blonde which is my go to DI solution. I love the Tech 21 as it is all analogue and can smooth out any harshness or floppiness with the character knob. I had owned the Joyo American Sound before the T21. The T21 has more clean headroom than the Joyo, quieter and is more 'hi-fi'. I loved the TC when I first got and the reverb is fantastic. There was something I didn't quite bond with, certainly wasn't 'spongy', very bright and amazing for some styles. The TC didnt sound great with my Fulltone FD2, the T21 did. MY Gibson CS336 didnt sound 'buttery' through the TC but could with T21. I realise the Joyo is a clone but I'm going to buy the Joyo for back up as it is a great back-up.

Man…..you make that thing sound great!!! I purchased one of these myself, but I haven’t been able to do anything with the software yet. I had to upgrade my computer and I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. What model Strat is that? Sounds fantastic though the Tonex!

It's a mini first aid kit as an emergency backup in my ears in case your main set up breaks down at a gig providing you've loaded your own tones properly into it, it can get you out of trouble yes, but the software is a headache is the word on the street I'm also hearing from recent owners particularly, the live tweaking aspect is not great in frequency ranges most needed on the fly and its reliant on a FRFR to get into the zones of whats been loaded into it provided they've been recorded (captured) properly in the first instance, I'm not much of a fan of playing other players personal snapshots personally, most unfortunately are difficult to avoid..but certainly not impossible to avoid if preferred. Chances highly probably are, most players usually gravitate to around 3-4 mainstay tones with their usual wet/delay/dist/overdrive preferences on the fly when live mostly and if your current set up is not already able to provide such to your ability to dial it in, then I'd try some different outboard units first to avoid the fluffing about with software dependant tweaks tbh...ta for the vid!

I use my tube screamer style pedal in the same way! Turn the drive down, level up, it acts as a mid focused boost pedal!
